Views sought on protecting savers in Jersey
Views are being sought from people in Jersey on issues relating to the protection of the island’s savers.
The States has prepared a consultation paper, which includes the recently introduced Depositor Compensation Scheme (DCS).
Issues include the DCS administration costs and whether depositors’ claims should have priority over those of other creditors in a bank insolvency.
The response deadline for individuals and businesses is Friday 2 July.
